Milan Dinevski is an architect, curator, and cultural producer based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
He was the Future Architecture Platform manager from 2018 to 2021, the first pan–European platform of architecture museums, festivals, and cultural producers that promoted ideas - by global emerging creative practitioners - for the future of architecture and habitat to the public. He was the executive curator of Future Architecture Rooms - an unconventional virtual environment, a project set at the intersection of the real and the immaterial in which twenty-seven European institutions, members of the Future Architecture platform, have created a digital context for exchange, knowledge transfer, education, and discussion. The final addition to the project was the twenty-seven global emerging authors and their video contributions as presentations of their award-winning work. Recently, he was the Production Platform manager of BIO27 Super Vernaculars - Design for a Regenerative Future, the 27th Biennial of Design, organized by the Museum of Architecture and Design MAO Ljubljana in coproduction with the Center for Creativity CzK, featuring five Slovenian interdisciplinary teams mentored by internationally acclaimed creatives to tackle compelling problems of local communities and the environment. Milan is co-founder of Protokolektiv, architecture and dissemination center based in Ljubljana creating and implementing new spatial, social, and political narratives that challenge established positions of power through research, curating, publishing, communicating, and facilitating projects across scales and geographies. He is co-founder of City Creative Network CCN, a citizen initiative and research center based in Skopje. As part of CCN, Milan develops design concepts and editorial work within a cross-disciplinary international setting. Milan started his education at the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje and is a holder of MArch degree from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. |
